Biography
Dr. Amel Farrag the founder of Business Improvement Solutions, a leading provider of Six Sigma and Project Management services and training in Egypt. She is MD, instructor for lean six sigma for healthcare (Quality Institute American University Cairo), and Quality Consultant, Ministry of Health.
She is certified as lean six sigma black belt, and her qualifications also include Diploma of Total Quality Management (AUC), Bachelors in Medicine and Master Degree of Dermatology.
During her five year career with quality she accumulated a variety of experiences. She is a pioneer in Egypt for teaching lean six sigma and quality improvement. She is a course leader in lean six sigma in AUC, responsible for material design and accreditation. She supervised several improvement projects for students in Diploma of Total Quality at AUC and is also responsible for supervising improvement projects for many governmental hospitals and assisting in preparing for ISQua accreditation standard for healthcare in Egypt.
